A source check and a professional technical review are different. Our initial library was written with AI assistance and checked against linked documentation. It has not been field-tested. A technical-review badge appears only after a named professional has reviewed that edition and an editor has recorded the evidence.
Expert panel
No professional panel members are currently listed. We do not represent the library as licensed-professional-approved. Plumbing, electrical, HVAC and home-inspection roles remain unfilled until real reviewers agree to participate and their credentials are checked.
What a review must cover
- Match the reviewer’s actual license or certification and jurisdiction to the topic. Check status with the issuing body and disclose conflicts.
- Review the complete article, diagrams, tool assumptions, warnings, manufacturer references and local-code limitations.
- Record the reviewer’s permission to be named, review date, scope and private editorial evidence. Do not treat editorial moderation as a technical sign-off.
- Re-review after changes. A change to article text, metadata, reviewer details or the supplied content-tool version invalidates the badge until a new review is recorded.
Credential checks expire on the recorded date. Each article displays its own review status; panel membership alone does not mean that a person approved every guide. Source-check dates never stand in for licensed review.
